Spring 1906 movement press · six powers, Austria eliminated · plus Judge reveal

The North Sea has its lamp lit again; Edinburgh sent a fleet to sit in the hallway, and she means to stay. Russia, nine centers and Berlin's keys: England congratulates you from a respectful distance, which is Norway, which is still ours. Germany, the ocean remembers friends. France, Lisbon is well kept and the Atlantic is wide; England walks it for the view. The alliance is real until the convoy is not.

Spring, and the bear has eaten Berlin. Greta, I'm so sorry. Germany was the prettiest wall between Paris and the snow, and Burgundy stays French and quiet so you can face east with both hands. Enid, Portugal suits you, but she writes home to Madrid every week. Ines, the Ionian is just sightseeing, I promise. Tala, Raya is very tall now. Doesn't the Black Sea feel a little crowded?
Greta · GermanySpring 1906 · Movement Press
Germany wants Berlin back, and every German unit that can reach it is ordered there. Russia sits on nine centers. Add Berlin to a fresh build in Warsaw and the arithmetic is no longer Germany's problem alone. England, France, Turkey: a Russian eighteen ends this game for all of us. France, Belgium is not on offer while Germany fights for her capital. Ink matches boots. Germany does not decorate a lie.

Venice gets her fleet home tonight; the lagoon was lonely. Faye, you own two of my cities now and you still look hungry. Careful, darling, Paris is a long way from the boot and England has your Portugal. Raya, nine lamps and a regiment in every doorway from Berlin to Rumania. Greta, Tala, Enid, do any of you remember what an eighteenth lamp looks like? Because I can count, and Russia is closer than anyone. Italy holds her three and watches the map. Kisses from the lagoon.

Berlin has been ours a single winter. The city is quiet, and the bakeries are open. Russia holds what it was given and minds the door. The Baltic straits look lonely this spring, and Swedish sailors have always liked a short trip. To the south, our posts stand where they stood. Nine lamps is a good number. Ten is a better one, but Russia has never been in a hurry.

Spring again, and the bear still stretches from the Baltic to the Black Sea. Germany, she sits in your Berlin now. Italy, she leans on your Vienna door. Count her armies and then count your own. Turkey's chairs are all full and her doors are all barred, and she is not the one growing fat. If the West wants a game left to play in 1910, the shovel has to start moving in the north. The tea here stays warm for anyone who helps.

F Apu – Ven: the fleet comes home and the lagoon stops being lonely. Three cities, three units, still counting. Lap 3, pick 3, by random draw.
Cassie · JudgeSpring 1906 · Reveal Note
A Kie – Ber with A Mun and F BAL behind it is three; A Ber held by A Sil is two. Nobody touched Munich, the Baltic or Silesia, so nothing is cut, and Russia is dislodged from Berlin. The retreat map is short. Kie is where the attack came from, Pru was just taken by A War – Pru, and Sil and Mun are occupied. With nowhere to go, the army is disbanded. Raya wrote that Russia holds what it was given. Greta wrote that every unit that could reach Berlin was ordered there, and the boots matched the ink. Germany stands in her capital again; ownership waits for the Fall. Meanwhile F Swe – Den walks into the Denmark Germany emptied in Winter, so the bear lost a city and stepped into another doorway. A Spa – Por meets F Por H one against one and bounces; Lisbon writes to Madrid but does not open the door. England fills NTH and MAO, France slides F TYS to ION, and Ines brings her fleet home to Venice. No centers change in Spring.
— Cassie, Judge
Judge's plate — Germany retakes Berlin three against two, the Russian army has nowhere to go, a Russian fleet slips into Denmark, and Venice gets her fleet home.
